As a System Administrator, you will join our team on a journey to help eliminate barriers for patients, increase their access to medications, and help them receive lifesaving treatments while working in an environment that nurtures you.

 

This Systems Administrator position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently, in a dynamic environment. The Windows Systems Administrator will be directly responsible for participating in the design and support of all managed Windows operating system infrastructure activities. This position requires the ability to excel at multi-tasking and have the experience to ramp up quickly in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, configure, and administer Windows, Linux, and hybrid environments across Microsoft Azure and VMware, including provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Manage Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and domain services, including user, group, and permission management.
  • Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and break-fix support across operating systems, applications, networking, and performance-related issues.
  • Maintain endpoint and cloud best practices, including anti-virus, patch management, application deployments, and OS updates through Intune Endpoint Management.
  • Provide proactive monitoring, reporting, tuning, and performance optimization for VMware, Azure, and operating system environments to ensure availability, reliability, and compliance.
  • Coordinate the testing and implementation of new systems and technologies.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT infrastructure.
  • Deliver end-user support, leveraging the internal help desk system to resolve IT issues, answer questions, and manage user/group accounts, licenses, and configurations.
  • Update and maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge bases.
  • Play a key role in establishing and managing IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Support a wide range of systems including enterprise applications, databases, laptops, servers, and network equipment.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for off-hours support.
  • Perform other tasks or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience managing corporate IT infrastructure, including Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2019/2022/2025, Exchange Online (M365), Azure,
    • Strong knowledge of Azure administration is preferred
  • Excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to follow written procedures and meeting timelines
  • Strong scripting and automation experience preferred
  • Understanding of IT management frameworks (ITIL) a plus
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative on multiple company projects.
  • Ability to work in a team and provide assistance and training for co-workers and end users

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy. 
  • Although very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
