Valeris is seeking a Director of Pricing to lead the design, build, and execution of next-generation pricing models supporting patient support services, HUB programs, and affordability solutions.

This role sits within Transformation at the intersection of Finance, Commercial, Strategy, and Operations, and plays a critical role in evolving how Valeris prices and delivers value to clients. The Director will translate complex reimbursement and patient access dynamics into scalable, data-driven, and increasingly automated pricing frameworks.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible not only for setting pricing strategy, but also building models, advancing tools (including AI-enabled capabilities), and driving adoption across the organization. The role will partner closely with executive leadership and serve as a key contributor to enterprise pricing transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy, Transformation & HUB Focus

  • Lead the development and evolution of pricing strategies for HUB services, patient support programs, PAP, and copay programs
  • Architect and advance next-generation pricing models (e.g., transactional, outcomes-based, and hybrid structures) aligned to client and market needs
  • Serve as a core leader within pricing transformation efforts, helping redefine how Valeris prices, packages, and delivers services
  • Ensure pricing strategies reflect market access realities, reimbursement complexity, and patient affordability dynamics

Execution & Model Ownership (Hands-On Leadership)

  • In tandem with the Sr. Pricing Analyst, build, refine, and oversee complex financial models (gross-to-net, utilization, payer mix, scenario modeling)
  • Own pricing from concept through execution, including model development, validation, and implementation
  • Establish standards for model integrity, transparency, and repeatability across programs
  • Operate as a player-coach, willing to dive into the details while elevating team capabilities

Financial Modeling, Analytics & AI Enablement

  • Translate data into actionable pricing insights that inform commercial decisions and client strategy
  • Identify and implement technology-enabled pricing solutions, including AI/automation tools to enhance forecasting, scenario modeling, and scalability
  • Drive transition from Excel-based models to more scalable, system-enabled pricing infrastructure
  • Evaluate program performance, profitability, and financial risk across the portfolio

Contracting, Affordability & Value Design

  • Design financial and pricing structures for copay, PAP, and affordability programs
  • Support development of value-based and performance-oriented pricing approaches
  • Partner on payer and manufacturer strategies to balance access, compliance, and financial sustainability

Cross-Functional & Executive Partnership

  • Operate at the intersection of Transformation, Finance, Commercial, Market Access, and Operations
  • Act as a strategic advisor and execution partner across the full program lifecycle
  • Support client engagements, solution design, and executive-level discussions
  • Present pricing strategies and insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders

Market Insights & Continuous Innovation

  • Monitor and interpret payer trends, policy changes, and reimbursement dynamics
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and scalability
  • Continuously refine and standardize pricing frameworks across HUB and patient support services
  •

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in pricing, financial strategy, consulting, or market access (healthcare/pharma preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to both develop strategy and execute hands-on modeling and analysis
  • Advanced expertise in financial modeling (Excel required; experience scaling beyond Excel strongly preferred)
  • Experience building or implementing pricing tools, automation, or AI-enabled solutions is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of patient support services, HUB models, and affordability programs preferred
  • Proven ability to operate in highly cross-functional, matrixed environments
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging senior and executive stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, etc.) preferred

Why This Role

  • Opportunity to shape and modernize pricing strategy for a leading patient services organization
  • High visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership and enterprise strategy
  • Unique blend of strategy, execution, and innovation, including AI-driven transformation
  • Direct impact on patient access, affordability, and client value delivery
